God has not abandoned us
There are times in our lives when it can feel like God has rejected us. David in Psalm 28 reflects on one of these moments, and in doing so he points us to Jesus who was rejected by God so that we would never have to be. As David waits for God’s answer to his plight God himself comes to earth to show His people that they will never be abandoned by Him. This leads us to rejoice with David that God will always hear us, protect us and shepherd us.
