Jesus is Better
Jesus is the final, fullest and greatest revelation from God. There is no more that needs to be revealed by God, and no more that needs to be done by God. In Jesus alone is “great salvation”. But do we treat Jesus this way? Do we see, know, understand and live that “Jesus is enough”? Or do we hedge our bets, and invest in other options? Do we treat Jesus like an insurance policy? Do we place Him amongst other desires in our lives? Do we live and teach and speak of Him as terrific, but…? Not to treat Jesus as enough is to float away from the one final and historically verifiable “great salvation” God has worked… and there is no other hope. Today, as we listen to Hebrews 2:1-4, let us be encouraged to live and breathe “Jesus is enough”.
